Examples of past special events at Dromana Presbyterian Church include:
- Bible Society - Bike for Bibles. The 'Around the Bay in 2 days' Bike for Bibles ride, where the riders sleep overnight at the church, and are provided with dinner and showers by the congregation.
- Hosting Australian Christian Lobby - 'Meet the Candidates' forums prior to Federal elections.
- Visits by speakers from Christian groups such as Barnabas Fund, Creation Ministries, Indian Reformed Fellowship Australia and the Gideons.
